Curious Turtle offers Europe-wide support and training for video professionals.

We give training in over 15 leading industry video & audio software packages, together with our library of video training DVDs and Film Wash Color Effects for Adobe After Effects and Apple Color. 

We want to help you learn and inspire. Our courses revolve around ideas and workflow, not just about the buttons.

Since 2003, we have enjoyed great success training world-renowned broadcasters, independant production companies, educational institutions and freelance artists who want to hone their skills in the latest popular tools for editing and graphic design.

With more complicated applications coming out at an ever-increasing tempo, the need for training becomes more pressing. We are proud to offer on-site or scheduled tailored training for Apple Final Cut Studio (including Final Cut Pro & Color), Boris Red & Continuum Complete, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, Imagineer Systems Mocha, Autodesk Combustion, Media 100HD and Video and Audio Compression.

mocha's target application flexibility is a huge feature.  At Curious Turtle, we have tried to replicate that by creating a modular training course.  The core six-hour mocha course is demonstrates how to get the tracking, roto shape and supplemental elements ready.  We can then finish in a number of other applications.

Currently the Adobe After Effects module is available.  Offering almost 3 hours of additional training, as we take the mocha results and complete our shots in After Effects.

Additional "app packs" will be made available in the near future for finishing in other programs.

Color grading is an essential part of every project and Apple Color brings you the toolset to give your footage the final shine.  You deserve more than "button pushing" training, so Creative Color Grading with Apple Color takes you beyond the basics of "how" and into the "what" and the "why" of color grading.

The aim of this course is to take you through the process of problem-solving and designing various grades that match the issues people face when working with Apple Color.  These include working with difficult footage, matching the narrative needs of the footage with color design and mastery of the ColorFX Room and LUTs.
