This is a
n extended tutorial for Mocha for Final Cut. We look at some of Mocha for Final Cut's basic operations, but mainly focus on how to get the different types of tracking data into Apple Final Cut Pro.
The tutorial focuses on how to use Mocha for Final Cut to do a screen replacement using Final Cut's basic effects and we take a look at stabilizing and track mattes.
i) Tracking co-planar objects for features that go off-screen.
ii) Techniques for tracking heavily blurred footage.
ii) Using the Grid and Adjust Track to get the best data possible.
iii) Exporting different types of tracking data into Apple Final Cut Pro.
iv) Linking various effects and track mattes to Mocha's tracking data.
v) Rendering in Final Cut Pro.
We will move between Imagineer Systems Mocha for Final Cut and Final Cut Pro.
