In this new free tutorial using PFHoe, we'll add realistic shadows to a 3D matchmove scene. In After Effects, we will add titles and see how to use the built-in 3D system and lighting control to create objects that fit in the scene.
This tutorial expects some knowledge of the After Effects user interface but takes you through the steps needed easily in PFHoe.
Broken into two main sections
- Create the 3D track within PFHoe. Ensuring that the tracking data is as accurate as possible.
- In After Effects, we will use the matchmove data to set up layers to catch shadows. Add lights and titles to complete the effect.
