Free Mocha tutorial - Creating Track Mattes for After Effects

In this video tutorial we take you between Imagineer Systems Mocha and Adobe After Effects.  We'll create a possessed alien eye effect using both applications and Boris Continuum Complete filter set.

You will learn:

i) Using the Planar Tracker to stabilise footage before rotoscoping.
ii) We will use individual edge points to create a fully adjustable soft-edge matte.
iii) We will add motion blur to the matte, to improve realism.
iv) After exporting the matte to After Effects we will use it as a track matte for another effect.
v) Finally we will use exported tracking data from Mocha to drive another filter, to complete the effect.
