Free PFHoe Tutorial - Workflow - Creating in-scene titles in After Effects
In this new free tutorial using PFHoe, we'll look the entire workflow for creating a 3D matchmove. We'll then bring that footage into After Effects, add titles and create a laser-generated look. That also requires translating 3D tracking data to 2D co-ordinates with expressions.
This tutorial expects some knowledge of the After Effects user interface but takes you through the steps needed easily in PFHoe.
Main Goals
- First we go through the main steps in PFHoe to create a 3D matchmove.
- We improve the results and export the data to After Effects.
- Finally we create the titles in 3D space, add a number of different effects, and learn how to use expressions to automatically control filters and effects.
