This is a fairly advanced tutorial for Mocha for AE V2, showing how to use the Shape Plug-in to create mask shapes in Adobe After Effects. You will be expected to know the basic Mocha and After Effects interfaces.
The tutorial focuses on how to use Mocha for After Effects to help out on a paint job to remove an actor from the scene.
i) Tracking objects to make rotoscoping easier.
ii) Using the Grid and Adjust Track to get the best data possible.
iii) Tracking multiple planes simultaneously.
iv) Using tracking data to help rotoscoping.
v) Transferring the shape and tracking data to After Effects.
vi) Using Parenting to matchmove the paint layer.
vii) Adjusting the tracking information to get the best result possible.
We will move between Imagineer Systems Mocha for After Effects V2 and Adobe After Effects several times.
