In this new free tutorial using footage from Artbeats, we'll look at creating a Day for Night scene using Imagineer Systems mocha to do the tracking and roto work. Then we bring that data into Adobe After Effects to do the compositing work.
This tutorial expects some knowledge of the mocha and After Effects user interfaces. If you don't then check out Rock Steady: Successful Motion Tracking in Mocha.

It's broken into three main sections.
- First we set up a master track in mocha, which will form the basis of our work.
- We then use that track to cut down the amount of work we need to do rotoscoping out a car. That shape data and two sets of tacking data are then exported out
- Finally we move into After Effects, create a color grade and use our exported data to drive other effects.
